Simple ways to touch a real estate geographic farm for realtors – homeless clothing drive

The last marketing idea on another simple touch you can use when prospecting to increase real estate lead generation in geographic farming is, do something that gives back.

I know one of our realtor clients was talking about what they do as one of their real estate marketing strategies. They do a clothing drive for the homeless shelter. They’ll go through their community, including making contact with potential motivated sellers, and say, “Hey, we want to support this homeless shelter. There’s a lot of people that need help. They are homeless. They don’t have a job. They don’t have a place to stay and we’re so fortunate in this community, so here’s what we’re going to do. If you have any clothes or anything, bring them to this house. We’re going to do this clothing drive for the homeless folks.”

As you put out the flyer that advertising your drive, this is going to increase your real estate branding because obviously you’re there. It’s Beatty Carmichael; it’s such and such real estate company. This says, “I care.” Now what’s happening is you’re just getting this good feeling about you. Sellers are taking notice. You’re always in the community and it’s not always self-serving. It’s about giving back to the community and giving to others. That creates a warm spot in people’s heart, which strengthens your branding.

Think about the types of real estate marketing you can do in lead generation that gets the attention of sellers. If it’s not a clothing drive, what is it? Is it a food drive for the food pantry? Is it something else? Is it a toy drive for the kids for Christmas time down in the project section?  Whatever it is, find ways, find reasons to rally the community by doing something nice for other people.

This is another example of real estate marketing strategies that increase your real estate branding and helps you find motivated seller leads in geographic farming.
